International PatientsOvspring is commited to the care it provides to children and adolescents with learning disabilities and developmental disorders throughout the international community. We have received patients internationally from regional Asian countries (Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Philippines) to as far as South Asia and Middle East. Our clinic receives referrals from overseas governmental agencies and international medical referral centers to meet the needs of our international patients. We invite you to review information on the VCI program and Interdisciplinary Child Evaluation Service (ICES) for international patients. International Patients: Requesting An Appointment 1. In order to schedule an appointment at Ovspring, a child’s parents/caregivers should complete the Appointment Request Form. Once this form is processed, you will receive a Medical Records request detailing the reports, evaluations, test results and other information necessary to evaluate your child’s eligibility for our programs. Typically, we are able to review these documents and make initial recommendations within three days of receipt. 2. Before an appointment is scheduled, international families must provide credit card and wire transfer information. After these requirements have been met, Ovspring will contact you to schedule an initial evaluation. 3. Appointments are usually set within four to six weeks of an initial request. An earlier appointment can be scheduled for urgent cases, depending on availability and how quickly all neccessary information can be completed. You will receive an appointment confirmation letter via e-mail or fax. This letter will also explain fees assessed for missed appointments. 4. Once appointments are scheduled, international families will have access to a Case Professional, who will assist you and you family with accommodation, travel arrangements and other needs before and during scheduled visits. International families can also have access to our VCI Program in Jakarta, Indonesia, where inter-disciplinary evaluations and individual consultations are undertaken for medical and therapy services at the patient's home country.
