Second Opinions

Ovspring's medical Second Opinions service allows patients to remotely access and consult with Ovspring medical specialist and/or Ovspring team of medical and allied health specialists, without having to travel to Ovspring's clinic in Singapore.  This remote medical Second Opinion service is a convenient alternative to confirm diagnosis and obtain treatment recommendations from our specialists and visiting consultants, without having to leave your home.

Ovspring offers this service for specialities: Paediatrics, Childhood Hemato-Oncology, Developmental and Learning Disabilities, as well as other Paediatric sub specialities such as ENT (Otolaryngology), Neurology, through our network of visiting consultants.

A second opinion by an experienced Ovspring medical specialist, or from team of specialists, can help you confront a challenging situation more confidently and help you make an informed decision about treatment options available to your child and family.

Two Types of Consults:

1. Basic Consult: Intended for the patient who anticipates seeking medical treatment and therapy services at Ovspring Singapore. The fee for the Basic Consult by a specialist includes review of medical records submitted, followed by a consultation via phone or tele-video conferencing.

2. Complex Consult: For subspecialties that demand a longer review period and are complex in nature, a higher fee will be charged. This is due to the additional time spent to review the case. This will include reviewing medical records (& other relevant information) to confirm diagnosis, review current treatment plans and recommend possible treatment in Singapore. The need for a Complex Consult will be communicated to you prior to processing your request.
