Access Arrangements in Examinations Talk
Understanding & Reviewing the Need for Access Arrangements
in Examinations: A UK Context

Synopsis:
In the United Kingdom, candidates who require extra support, such as those with a physical impairment or a learning disability, may access arrangements during examinations. Speakers will provide a background and overview on access arrangements, ethical considerations and guidance and regulation for access arrangements by Joint Council of Examinations (JCQ), UK.

The talk will also cover briefly types of common access arrangements, and managing of key roles and expectations within this process. This talk will be of interest to educational psychologists, specialist teachers, school Administrators, principals, special needs officers and learning support personnel.

This event runs from 9am to 12noon, with a tea break of about 20min to 25 mins at a suitable time to break.
